Double Bass Blog: In Search of the Perfect Bow

If you don't have access to the Strings Magazine Buyer's Guide 2008, you can always check out what the bloggers have to say about buying that next musical investment. The other day, I was perusing Jason Heath's Double Bass Blog and found a great post in "In Search of the Perfect Bow".

[Jason with a perfect bow?]

The Strings Magazine's articles describes how buyers should think with their money, especially in cyberspace. Jason's article also touches upon this subject as well but does a good job of describing the qualities and trail methods you should employ when bow shopping. The article covers other areas of worthy interests such as what to expect from typical early student bows, factors to consider when moving up a grade, and possibly having a bow commissioned to be made.
