KVNO Classical 90.7 FM's Spring 2008 Pledge Drive

Spring 2008 Pledge Drive
Classical 90.7 FM KVNO
March 12-18

Every morning, I have to head to work through flurry of traffic on I-80 where commuters from Lincoln come into Omaha. The last thing I want to worry about is accidentally rear-end the stream of mini-van moms and high school drivers on the oh so quiet "Pacific" street.

That's why I reach for the dial in the car for some good old classics to keep the adrenaline on low. What better way to keep me and others from potential road rage episodes by supporting your local public radio, Classical 90.7 FM. I've been listening to these guys since I was a kid and can still remember when famed Dale Munson was part of the regular lineup. The programming and line-up has changed over the years with online broadcasts and the addition of the baritone Otis Twelve.

However, their goal of broadcasting classical music remains the same and once again they need your help. If you haven't heard, their volunteer pledge drive is on its way with a target of $80,000. You can tune in and out for the next few days as they play those popularized classics non-stop but do give them call with pledge and tell them how much you appreciate them.
