As a graduate of the University of Iowa, I am always proud of products from that great state.

TC Hoxsie was a violin maker in Boone, Iowa. This is the second violin of his we have seen (this one 1902)  and we have always been impressed with the fine level of workmanship and the sense of grace and proportion of his instruments. This violin has a great rich muscular tone, and is very easy to play.
